Brie Cheese Dip
Serves 5-10
Ingredients
1/4 to 1/2 cup Creme Fraiche
1 tsp. Olive Oil
1/4 to 1/2 cup Sliced Dried Black Figs
1/4 to 1/2 cup Sliced Dried Apricots
Creamy Brie Cheese Round
1/4 cup or less Apricot Preserves
1/4 cup or less Fig Preserves
Approx. 1/2 cup Cndied Walnuts or Pecans
1 Baguette, sliced thinly and toasted
2 heads of garlic
Optional Bosch Pears
Preparation
Wrap garlic and olive oil in foil and roast in oven at 350 for 30 minutes, then blend into paste for extra topping.
Put all ingredients but the brie in the bottom of a round baking dish and mix.
Slice the rind of the bottom off of the brie and place on top.
Bake at 350 until melted and lightly browned on top, about 20 minutes.
Goes great with Bosch Pears.
