Brie Cheese Dip

Serves 5-10

Ingredients
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup Creme Fraiche
  • 1 tsp. Olive Oil
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup Sliced Dried Black Figs
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup Sliced Dried Apricots
  • Creamy Brie Cheese Round
  • 1/4 cup or less Apricot Preserves
  • 1/4 cup or less Fig Preserves
  • Approx. 1/2 cup Cndied Walnuts or Pecans
  • 1 Baguette, sliced thinly and toasted
  • 2 heads of garlic
  • Optional Bosch Pears
Preparation
  • Wrap garlic and olive oil in foil and roast in oven at 350 for 30 minutes, then blend into paste for extra topping.
  • Put all ingredients but the brie in the bottom of a round baking dish and mix.
  • Slice the rind of the bottom off of the brie and place on top.
  • Bake at 350 until melted and lightly browned on top, about 20 minutes.
  • Goes great with Bosch Pears.
