What is your favorite food? Why?
Baby back ribs. I love anything barbequed because I love the outdoors and barbeques are outdoors.
How long have you been in the grocery business?
I have been in the grocery business for 28 years.
What changes have you seen in the grocery business?
There are a lot of box stores! I definitely see a lack of customer service and friendliness now then when I first started in this business.
If you were not at The Market what line of work would you be in? Why?
I would be a motorcycle policeman because its outdoors and you get to ride a motorcycle all day.
When you’re not at The Market you’re busy doing what?
I’m out riding my motorcycle; didn’t I tell you how much I love motorcycles? I also love spending time with my son and working on my yard.

What is your favorite food? Why?
Salads. I try to have a salad every night for dinner. I love salads because there are so many varieties from fruit, vegetable, chicken.
How long have you been in the grocery business?
42 years! I started when I was 15.
What changes have you seen in the grocery business?
Now there is a full variety of fruits and vegetables all year. It used to be mainly seasonal. The quality has also improved in produce without sacrificing taste.
If you were not at The Market what line of work would you be in? Why?
Home renovation. I like fixing up things and I get great satisfaction from turning something that looks bad and making it nice.
When you’re not at The Market you’re busy doing what?
At the lake on a boat listening to Jimmy Buffet songs.
